Funding Open for Innovative Events: Bring Your Ideas to Life with PSDI
The Physical Sciences Data Infrastructure (PSDI) are inviting proposals from the community to run events that engage the community in issues around scientific data. We have specific funding available to run events before 31st March 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your ideas to life, connect with the PSDI community, and support innovation and collaboration in the physical sciences data infrastructure space.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking proposals for events that:
Align with PSDI Goals
Your event should focus on areas such as knowledge sharing / hackathon-style events for data sharing or software / discussing scientific standards / creating training materials to incorporate into PSDI
Run by 31 March 2025
Events must be completed before this deadline to ensure timely use of funding.
Collaboratively Funded
Ideally, events should be co-funded, with 20% of the cost contributed by your organisation or partners.
Further Information
Successful applications will receive:
- Funding to support event delivery
- Guidance and support from PSDI in organising and running your event (if required)
- Applications will be reviewed against our project aims and funding criteria, with priority given to co-funded events.
- Events are expected to engage with the community (as broadly as possible).
- A report or write-up will be required following the event to document its impact and outcomes.
- Applications will be open until 2 February 2025
- Please note that we are only able to accept applications for events held in the United Kingdom
